Project Manager

Project Managers are the key players in bringing construction projects to life, overseeing everything from start to finish. They ensure projects stay on schedule, within budget, and meet safety and quality standards. With responsibility for managing resources, communication, and timelines, Project Managers are essential for maintaining alignment across teams, clients, and vendors. It’s about ownership—solving problems, leading teams, and ensuring every detail is taken care of. In this role, you’ll lead high-profile projects, drive team success, and make a real impact on the company’s growth and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

1. Budget Adherence (20%)

  • Manage the project budget, ensuring all resources are allocated appropriately and costs are controlled.

  • Track and report on spending, identify potential budget overruns, and take corrective action as necessary.

  • Performance Expectation: Maintain budget variance under 10% of project value.

2. Project Schedule Management (20%)

  • Develop, monitor, and adjust the project schedule to ensure timely completion of all milestones.

  • Coordinate with internal teams and external contractors to address any delays or changes in scope.

  • Performance Expectation: Achieve project deadlines within 10% of planned time.

3. Team Collaboration and Communication (15%)

  • Lead and coordinate internal teams, contractors, and vendors to ensure alignment on objectives and tasks.

  • Establish clear communication channels with clients and internal stakeholders to keep everyone updated.

  • Performance Expectation: Communicate project status and issues clearly, ensuring no more than 2-3 communication breakdowns per quarter.

4. Quality Control and Risk Management (20%)

  • Ensure the quality of work meets the highest standards. Manage risks effectively and proactively.

  • Resolve issues and risks before they escalate into larger problems.

  • Performance Expectation: Maintain a project quality score of 95% or above, addressing 100% of identified risks before they impact project delivery.

5. Client Relationship Management (15%)

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring that their needs are met and expectations exceeded.

  • Address any client concerns promptly and professionally, aiming for high levels of client satisfaction.

  • Performance Expectation: Achieve at least 90% client satisfaction on project completion surveys.

6. Safety and Compliance (10%)

  • Ensure all safety regulations and compliance requirements are met on-site.

  • Conduct regular safety inspections and collaborate with the safety team to implement corrective actions as needed.

  • Performance Expectation: Achieve zero safety violations or accidents throughout the project lifecycle.

Workplace Requirements

Travel Requirements:

  • Frequent travel to project sites and client locations, potentially for extended periods.

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs, walk long distances, and navigate job sites, including climbing stairs or ladders.

Work Conditions:

  • Split between office work and outdoor site visits in varying weather conditions.

  • Must be comfortable in high-pressure environments to meet deadlines.

Certifications:

  • PMP and OSHA 30-Hour Construction Certification preferred.

  • First Aid/CPR certification.

Safety:

  • Ensure safety standards on job sites; conduct safety audits and address potential hazards.
