Quality Control Manager

Quality Control Manager

Quality Assurance (30%)
Conduct regular site inspections to ensure that all construction processes meet regulatory and internal quality standards.
Develop and maintain quality control plans and procedures, ensuring that all staff follow guidelines for quality performance.
Identify potential quality issues before they arise and take immediate corrective actions.
Documentation and Reporting (25%)
Ensure all quality inspections and tests are documented accurately and within specified timeframes.
Maintain a comprehensive record of quality reports, non-conformance reports (NCRs), and corrective actions.
Provide detailed reports to senior management on the overall quality performance of construction projects.
Team Leadership and Training (20%)
Lead and mentor a team of quality inspectors, ensuring they understand the importance of quality and follow industry standards.
Conduct training and development for team members on quality control processes, techniques, and industry best practices.
Ensure that all team members adhere to safety protocols during inspections and work activities.
Compliance and Regulatory Oversight (15%)
Ensure compliance with industry regulations, including OSHA standards and local construction codes.
Stay current with relevant quality standards and legal requirements and ensure that the team is aware of any updates.
Work with external inspectors and regulatory bodies to facilitate smooth inspections and certifications.
Continuous Improvement (10%)
Identify areas for improvement in construction processes and quality assurance procedures.
Collaborate with project managers and teams to develop and implement process improvements to enhance overall quality.
Monitor performance metrics to ensure that quality standards are consistently met or exceeded.

Workplace Requirements:
Travel Requirements: Limited travel for inspections, primarily local.
Physical Demands: Ability to stand or sit for extended periods; some lifting required.
Work Conditions: Primarily office and field-based inspections; must adhere to safety protocols.
Certifications: OSHA 10/30, First Aid/CPR, and industry-specific certifications are required.
Safety:
Must ensure all quality control processes are conducted in line with safety regulations, ensuring no safety risks are overlooked during inspections.

Safety Commitment: Always prioritize safety while working with complex systems.
Technical Proficiency: Ability to understand, inspect, and ensure the proper installation and functioning of equipment.
Problem Solving: Ability to troubleshoot and address issues effectively and on the spot.
Adaptability: Flexibility in adapting to changing site conditions, project demands, and client expectations.
