  • A hospital designed with service in mind.

    Housed in 12 buildings across 33 acres, the VA Hospital in Aurora was designed as a state of the art medical facility furthering the VA's threefold purpose: to increase access to VA benefits and services, reduce the claims backlog, and eliminate veteran homelessness. After 9 years and mounting delays, the U.S. Army Corp of Engineers finalized this massive undertaking with the help of specialized teams. Mountain Wireless was called into consult and implement the wireless network to ensure it spanned the entire medical complex.

    Moving together towards a common goal.

    The VA Hospital standards march in lockstep with the U.S. Military, requiring wireless capability spanning all 1.8M+ square fee and micro-responsiveness to medical personnel, patients, and family. Charting varied system pathways, from the parking structure to ensuring Doctor reachability included 98 Remote amplifiers, 42,000 feet of coaxial cable, SOLiD Neutral Host Cellular DAS 2.5 MHz and Paging Add-On. Mountain Wireless was honored to be on this supporting the highest level of care for veterans and Veteran Affairs.
