Apprentice Electrician
Apprentice Electricians are the future of the electrical trade. They start their journey by learning directly from experienced electricians, becoming integral to each installation, repair, or maintenance task. The role offers an exciting opportunity to build foundational knowledge in electrical systems, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to the successful completion of complex electrical projects. Behind every light turned on and every system that powers up, there’s an Apprentice Electrician learning to make it all happen.

Apprentice Electrician

Installation and Maintenance of Electrical Systems (30%)
Assist in the installation of wiring, outlets, circuit panels, and other electrical components under the supervision of a licensed electrician.
Ensure electrical systems are installed safely, following all local and national codes.
Safety and Compliance (20%)
Adhere to safety regulations and procedures at all times.
Conduct regular safety checks and report potential hazards.
Troubleshooting and Repairs (20%)
Assist in troubleshooting electrical issues, diagnosing problems, and carrying out repairs.
Help in testing electrical systems to ensure they meet operational standards.
Documentation and Reporting (10%)
Keep accurate records of electrical work completed and report progress.
Assist in completing necessary paperwork for permits, safety inspections, and job orders.
Team Collaboration (20%)
Work closely with journeymen and other electricians on site.
Participate in team meetings, providing feedback and learning opportunities.

Travel Requirements:
Up to 3 weeks of travel at a time (hotel and per diem provided).
Must be able to travel to different job sites.
Physical Demands:
Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver up to 50lbs.
Must frequently stand, walk, stoop, and climb ladders.
Work Conditions:
Requires working outdoors in various weather conditions.
Must be able to pass pre-employment screening, including drug testing and background checks.
Teamwork:
Must be able to work as part of a team, with clear communication with supervisors and co-workers.
Safety:
Must adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to ensure personal and team safety on the job site.

Safety Awareness: Strong understanding of safety procedures and a commitment to working safely in electrical environments.
Technical Skills: Basic knowledge of electrical systems, tools, and installations.
Learning and Adaptability: Ability to learn quickly on the job and adapt to changing project needs.
Teamwork: Ability to collaborate with team members and supervisors to accomplish tasks effectively.
