Field Construction Manager

Field Construction Manager

Project Oversight (30%)
Oversee and manage construction projects from start to finish, ensuring timelines and quality standards are met.
Coordinate work between different departments and contractors.
Ensure all work is completed according to project plans and specifications.
Team Leadership & Supervision (25%)
Supervise construction crews, ensuring they follow safety protocols and complete work on time.
Maintain clear communication with team members and resolve conflicts quickly.
Foster a culture of teamwork, safety, and productivity on-site.
Safety & Compliance (20%)
Ensure all construction activities comply with safety regulations, minimizing incidents and risks.
Conduct regular safety inspections and audits, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
Address and resolve safety violations promptly.
Documentation & Reporting (15%)
Maintain accurate records of construction progress, inspections, and any changes to the original plans.
Report on project status to senior management, ensuring all issues are documented and addressed.
Ensure compliance with regulatory documentation requirements.
Stakeholder Communication (10%)
Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and vendors, ensuring transparency in all project aspects.
Address client concerns and keep stakeholders informed about project progress and changes.

Workplace Requirements:
Travel Requirements: Frequent travel to job sites and client locations.
Physical Demands: Ability to handle lifting and operating construction equipment; ability to work in various conditions.
Work Conditions: Work will be performed outdoors in various weather conditions.
Certifications: OSHA 30, Competent Climber, and First Aid/CPR certifications required.
Safety:
Must oversee and enforce safety practices across all field operations, ensuring team adherence to safety regulations and preventing safety hazards.

Leadership: Strong leadership skills to manage, motivate, and develop construction teams.
Project Management: Expertise in overseeing all stages of construction, from planning to completion.
Safety Commitment: Prioritizes safety on the worksite and ensures that the team adheres to safety protocols.
Risk Management: Identifies and mitigates potential project risks, ensuring smooth project execution.
Communication: Ability to communicate clearly with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
