Tower Technician
Tower Technicians are crucial to the foundation of communication infrastructure. They bring complex tower systems to life by installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting the equipment that keeps us connected. This role requires hands-on expertise to ensure that every tower is structurally sound and functioning efficiently, adhering to rigorous safety standards. Tower Technicians are problem-solvers, adapting to ever-changing conditions and resolving issues as they arise, ensuring the seamless integration of all components. Tower Technician

Tower Installation & Maintenance (40%)
Install, maintain, and repair communication towers, ensuring all systems are properly aligned and operational.
Ensure all equipment is securely fastened and safe for use during installation.
Follow safety guidelines rigorously to avoid hazards during tower work.
Inspection & Troubleshooting (30%)
Perform regular inspections on communication towers, diagnosing any issues.
Resolve technical issues on-site, ensuring minimal downtime and maintaining optimal performance.
Ensure towers comply with safety and regulatory standards.
Documentation & Reporting (15%)
Keep detailed records of tower installations, repairs, and maintenance.
Ensure all work is documented accurately, including safety inspections, completed tasks, and follow-up requirements.
Team Collaboration & Communication (10%)
Collaborate with other technicians and project managers to ensure efficient tower operations.
Communicate effectively with team members and other departments to coordinate efforts.
Safety Compliance & Quality Assurance (5%)
Follow all safety procedures and ensure that all installations and maintenance are conducted safely.
Report any safety concerns immediately and ensure compliance with all industry standards.

Workplace Requirements:
Travel Requirements: Must be willing to travel extensively for fieldwork.
Physical Demands: Must be able to lift heavy equipment and work at heights.
Work Conditions: Work is performed at heights; must work in various weather conditions.
Certifications: OSHA 30, Competent Climber/Rescue, First Aid/CPR, and other tower-specific certifications.
Safety:
Must adhere to strict safety protocols when working at height and when using equipment, ensuring all safety regulations are followed.

Safety Commitment: Prioritizes safety and follows proper protocols when working on towers and other heights.
Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of tower climbing techniques, equipment handling, and troubleshooting.
Problem-Solving: Ability to address challenges on the spot, ensuring timely and effective solutions.
Adaptability: Flexible and resourceful in responding to changing site conditions or weather.
Team Collaboration: Works well with others, ensuring smooth operations and clear communication on site.
