Warehouse Technician

Inventory Management (40%)
Track and maintain inventory of materials and equipment, ensuring that stock levels are accurate.
Ensure materials are available when needed, preventing delays on construction projects.
Implement inventory control processes to avoid waste and misplacement.
Logistics & Distribution (30%)
Organize and distribute materials to the appropriate departments or job sites in a timely manner.
Coordinate shipments and deliveries to ensure project materials arrive on time.
Documentation & Reporting (20%)
Maintain accurate records of inventory, shipments, and material receipts.
Ensure all documentation complies with company standards and is readily available for auditing.
Safety & Compliance (5%)
Follow all safety protocols when handling materials, ensuring safety on the warehouse floor.
Adhere to safety and environmental regulations to prevent accidents.
Team Collaboration (5%)
Work with the warehouse team and project managers to ensure smooth operation and logistics.
Provide support to other departments by ensuring material availability and readiness.

Workplace Requirements:
Travel Requirements: Limited to no travel; based at the warehouse.
Physical Demands: Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50lbs).
Work Conditions: Work performed indoors; lifting and stocking warehouse items.
Certifications: Fork-lift certification is required.
Safety:
Must follow all warehouse safety protocols, ensuring a safe working environment and adhering to operational guidelines.

Organization: Ensures materials and equipment are organized, stored, and easily accessible.
Inventory Management: Proficient in tracking stock, monitoring levels, and ensuring proper stock rotation.
Problem-Solving: Identifies and addresses potential issues with inventory or equipment quickly.
Safety Commitment: Maintains a safe and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols.
Attention to Detail: Ensures accuracy in record-keeping, order picking, and shipping processes.
